Data Management Engineer
Job description Data Management Engineer
The responsibilities of Data Management Engineer includes but are not limited to the following,
•Collect daily verified production and well test data from all fields.
•Process and validate the data; reject invalid data and request new acquisition; establish and maintain the production data base.
•Manage the Production Data System and ensure timely availability of validated and reconciled data for use by the Asset organisation.
•Collate and issue the monthly report of producing wells (MRPW).
•Develop and maintain the Short Term Production forecast for the Assets.
•Ensure completeness and accuracy of all management and Government reports issued by the department.
•Collect data and maintain the monthly record of Key Performance Indicators for the Department.
•Manage the departmental operations information and filing system.
•Develop and regularly update the procedures relevant to the above tasks.
Requirements Data Management Engineer
•Data Management Engineer will have HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline
•At least 6 years experience at a senior supervisory level in production operations, including subsurface and surface facilities.
•In depth knowledge and understanding of the latest production planning and hydrocarbon accounting methodologies.
•Conversant in computerised production accounting systems.
•Awareness of Petroleum Engineering functional data and information requirements.
•Conscientious, well developed administrative qualities.
•Good man management, interpersonal and communications skills.
Terms & Conditions Data Management Engineer
•Work Schedule :Resident based position
•Duration: Initial one year contract plus extension option
•He/She will be reporting to the Production Coordinator.
