Job description Coordinator, Quantity Surveying
The responsibilities of Coordinator, Quantity Surveying include but are not limited to the following,
•Cost planning, estimating, cost analysis, cost-in-use studies and value management to establish a project budget
•Quantity take-off based on the architectural drawings and engineering details
•Estimates and monitors construction costs for cost database
•Prepares bill of quantities/ bill of materials and tender documents
•Ensures timely submission of cost estimates/ reports
•Reviews works of new model houses
•Coordinating work schedules, materials deliveries and other construction details with concerned contractors/ suppliers/ consultants/ designers/ procurement group
Requirements Coordinator, Quantity Surveying
•Coordinator, Quantity Syrveying will have degree in Civil Engineering.
•Minimum of 10 years experience in Quantity surveying with in Oil & Gas industry.
•Minimum of 5 years experience in Coordinator role or supervisory role
•Experienced in coordinating work schedules, materials deliveries and other construction details with concerned contractors/ suppliers/ consultants/ designers/ procurement group
•Computer literate (knowledge in autocad and other office applications)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Analytical and organized
Terms & Conditions Coordinator, Quantity Surveying
•Work schedule:Resident based job.
•Initial Contract of 12 months (Option to extend).
•For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy
